David S. Thompson

David Scott Thompson has two decades of experience with insurance and workers’ compensation defense in almost every industry across the state of Georgia. Prior to joining Cuzdey, Ehrmann, Dave was the managing partner of his own plaintiffs’ firm and before that, a senior associate with one of the largest workers’ compensation defense firms in Atlanta. With expertise in managing claims from intake through settlement on both sides of the aisle, Dave has a long track record working successfully with employers and insurers to formulate claim strategies and achieve favorable outcomes for his clients.

A native of Virginia and Texas, Dave is also a graduate of the University of Virginia and Emory Law School. He currently lives in East Cobb with his wife, Lauren, his two daughters, and his 80 lb. white lab, Mac.

Dave enjoys running, landscaping, and rooting for his Virginia Cavaliers, the Texas Longhorns, and all the local pro teams in his spare time.
