Ryan H. Read

Ryan H. Read graduated from the University of Georgia, Terry School of Business with a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) in Marketing in 2018. Following his undergraduate studies, Ryan clerked at the Rockdale County District Attorney’s office. From there, Ryan enrolled at the University of Mercer School of Law and obtained his Juris Doctorate degree from the same in 2023.

While enrolled in law school, Ryan was a part Mercer’s Law Review and was published in 2022: https://digitalcommons.law.mercer.edu/jour_mlr/vol73/iss3/18/. Ryan was also a part of Mercer’s high-achieving Negotiations Competition Team, which came in 1st (in 2022) and placed in the top 8 (in 2023) at the ABA National Negotiations Competition in 2022, which featured over 130 teams from law schools across the nation. During law school, Ryan also worked in a variety of different practices of the law, including interning at the Rockdale District Attorney’s Office, interning at a small personal injury firm, and interning at the Georgia Court of Appeals under Judge Elizabeth Gobeil.

Ryan graduated from law school Magna Cum Laude in the top 10 of his class and was recognized as part of the Brainerd Currie Honor Society, which recognizes third-year students who distinguished themselves by maintaining superior scholastic records and making significant contributions to areas of research and writing. Ryan accepted a clerk position with the firm prior to graduation and recently became an associate after passing the Bar Exam.

Ryan was born in Conyers, Georgia and is an avid Georgia Sports Fan. He enjoys spending time with his family, going to the gym, being active outdoors, and bourbon collecting.
